I have been taking photos for the better part of my life. I still have my original Brownie Hawkeye camera. I really started to hone my ability and knowledge when I began using a 4 x 5 view camera (everything is calculated manually) to take photos.

Another great learning experience came when I acquired the rights to a professional soccer team’s yearbook (the now defunct NY Arrows). I was able to get press credentials to shoot in many different sports arenas.

I have won a number of awards for my photos... Black and White print of the year along with black and white Photographer of the Year in one of the photo clubs that I belonged to. I have also received a Nassau County Citation for the juried LI Arts Council at Freeport photo show, an honorable mention in the Gurwin/Tiffen photo contest. Amityville Artists Circle juried competition awarded my photo, A Lonely Runner, best in show plus a third place for another photo. Plus other photographic achievments.

Today, photography has become more that just a hobby… It’s a passion. Much of my work is a combination of my photographic experience and my years as a graphic artist. I have a philosophy: The “perfect” doesn’t always happen… Sometimes it’s created.

I also believe in giving back… I create web sites and do hosting of them. With this in mind I set up a web site SeeMyPhotoGallery.com where photographers can get a web gallery with as many as 100 photos published for only fifty dollars per year. All they have to do is either upload their photos or send them to me on a CD or DVD and I do all of the work. These are “flash” galleries so the photos can’t be right clicked to downloaded and copy.
